Our adult art classes are easy and fun
You’ll benefit from step-by-step progressive guidance and tuition in the basic techniques and secrets needed to create beautiful pieces of art.
We adapt to each student’s needs and give them all the help they require to develop their artistic skills. The curriculum is fun, comprehensive and interesting.
Over 14 weeks of art lessons we will explore four different media:
- Pencil drawing
- Oil pastels
- Watercolours
- Acrylics
Twelve exciting projects
Over 14 weeks, our students will draw or paint a minimum of twelve pieces of original art to enjoy forever, from misty mountain tops to stunning seaside vistas.
By the end of our course, you will be able to draw and paint things you didn’t dream possible, from picturesque village scenes to sketches of your family, friends and even pets!
Our group art classes for adults are designed especially for beginner to intermediate artists by a team of professional and highly experienced art tutors. Each term has a brand new and exciting curriculum. You’ll never repeat the same lesson and we explore new mediums for returning students.
On average, 50-75% of our students return to our courses, year after year, to continue honing their skills and socialise with the friends they have made.

This first module covers some interesting projects and includes pencil studies, perspective and enlarging, and faces and figures. We begin with the fundamentals to lay the foundations for the rest of the course. We go through the pencil and paper types, we teach you how to use your pencils properly and how to observe the way an artist does, we look at tonal values and form, hatching and other pencil techniques, and we study faces, figures, perspective and a horse.

Let loose on colour in this module. We teach about the colour wheel, colour harmony and how to use your oil pastels. In this module we look at the techniques, study an apple and start our pet portraits.

A very popular medium and easy to use once you know how.
By the end of this module you will have learned all about the colour wheel, mixing, brush strokes and wash techniques, and created 2 or 3 beautiful paintings to be proud of!
If you have the dexterity to write,
then you have the ability to draw or paint. All you need is the right guidance to help you develop your creative skills and discover your inner artist. Whether booking for yourself - or maybe as a thoughtful gift for a loved one - our adult art classes will help develop lifelong creative skills.
Relax and have fun while you learn
All of our training is intended to ensure you progress artistically at a pace you are comfortable with. You’ll also see improvements in your creative capabilities and self-confidence along the way.
With tuition and continual support from our teachers and class assistants, you’ll reach a level of competence that will encourage you to progress further. Imagine showing your friends and relatives the finished pictures you have created during your 12 weeks of art lessons with us.
You will leave with a selection of your own original pencil drawings, oil pastel sketches, acrylic paintings and watercolours to cherish. A high proportion of our students choose to attend further lessons, studios and workshops in the future with us
